A beetle(?) on the rose mallow flower. Would you please tell me the name of a beetle?

    I think the beetle is a spotted cucumber beetle. There's two kinds :one west of the Rockies and one that is found around eastern Missouri all the way to the east coast. Mostly, they prefer vegetables but I guess this one likes our rose mallow. by Sunflower
