Weeding ( April 12, 2010 )

We weeded a lot in the sweet scent of crab apple blossoms. We had barely seen weeds two weeks ago, but weeds are everywhere today. The weeds are growing so fast! There are some chamomiles and aster seedlings spreading by themselves, so we have to pay close attention to not pull them out.

I found a four leaf clover in the Anniversary Garden. We think clovers are weeds for this garden, but I can’t stop looking for a four leaf clover when I pull them out. According to tradition, it brings good luck to the finder, so maybe we will have a more beautiful garden this year!
