Aphids

We found tons of aphids at the top of the asters. We cut their tip from the asters near the bench. This is the first time to see the breeding of aphids.

However, the ladybugs are saving us! We found three ladybugs on the aster near the music room, so they will eat aphids. Welcome ladybugs! This is a nature rule.

Pruning and weeding

We pruned two boxwood shrubs this week. Snapdragon cut its top pointy, but Monarda cut it round..... isn't it funny? We weeded, too. The sickly Showy Goldenrod is looking better this week. Good news!
